Advice from a professional:
Our in-house Stage Lighting Advisor has been designing theatrical stage lighting for over 30 years. He taught Stage Lighting Design and Stage Lighting Stage Craft at Stony Brook University. The American Ballet Theatre chose him to share his knowledge with their students in the "Make A Ballet" program for their Lighting Design/Production teams at two of their schools, which include performances at the Metropolitan Opera. He earned a BFA from SUNY Purchase and a MFA from NYU's Tisch School of the Arts. Please give him a call or send an email if you are not sure how to do something or what stage lighting equipment is best for you.
