Traditionally par cans have multiple beam widths. This was accomplished by using the same can housing but changing the lamp that had different outputs. Wide, Medium, Narrow & Very Narrow, were the most typical options. Multi Lens Pars were invented to simplify this. The fixture keeps the same lamp but has lenses that can be swapped out to give you the different output widths. A Multi Lens Par lens does follow the Par 64 concept of oval shaped beams but the narrower you get the less this can be seen. The lenses can be rotated to orient the direction of the oval to your needs. In the front of the lamp there are accessories holder tabs for items such as gel frames, barn doors, snoots, half hats, color scrollers, color extenders and louvers.
