Rosco Super Heat Shield is a colorless engineered polymer with very high heat resistance. When placed between the fixture and a color filter, Heat Shield provides a physical barrier to convected heat thereby extending the life of the filter. For best efficiency a minimum 1 inch (25mm) air space should be maintained between the Heat Shield and the color filter.
