A long time ago the Jones Beach Theatre on Long Island produced one classic musical a summer. As a child I saw the sound of music. At one point they had to do a scene change they did not want the audience to see but this is not a theatre with a curtain or anything to block the audiences view. They pointed a bunch of lights at the audience and blinded us for a moment to accomplish hiding the scene change. I found this very interesting and was one of the first times in my life that I understood the power of lighting. Nowadays many concerts or DJ's use this effect as a burst of energy. These are some fixtures that they use. - Louie Lumen
